3892657 302/327/350 64-67 210-350 car & Truck 2-bolt

Something doesn't make sense.... 3892657 is a 1967 block right?

Both Mortec and Nasty Z/28 show that Casting # and 1967 only

I pick up the car to day. the numbers on the back of the block ware clean enough to read. I will clean the paint off the pad, maybe I am not reading it right.
Thanks
67 RS clone, 327/350, 4 speed. Nice clean car.

The VO is probably V0 (zero), then a few numbers and VS. The first V is the plant it was made in: Flint, MI. The numbers are a date, then the engine suffix. Probably the original engine.

Check for the partial VIN right near it and see if it matches the last 9 digits of the vehicles VIN.

YS 1966 327 or 1968 327. With the engine code should be a 1966 327 engine.

THAT explains it! It's a truck engine used between '65 and '68, and made anywhere from 210hp - 350hp.

Thank's for the info. It helps ot understand what you have. The person I got the car from thought it was a 350. Someone put fast burn heads on it.
