CHRIS,
THANKS FOR YOUR FAST REPLY. THAT DOES DESCRIBE MY CAR EXACTLY. YOU WERE RIGHT ABOUT THE "3SL". JUST GOT MY CAR IN MAY, IN PERFECT SHAPE. HAD IT REPAINTED WITH A BUMBBLE BEE STRIPE BECAUSE I WAS DIEING TO DO SOMETHING TO IT. ALSO PUT ON A NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM. HAVE A GREAT DAY.THANKS AGAIN CHRIS.

Your convertible is real close to mine. On the drivers side on the engine block about an inch from the firewall there should be a block casting number next to where the tranny bolts up (close to top center). This casting number is usually covered with a bunch of dirt and grease. The last four digits on mine are 3360 and it is definitely the original engine.

You have an early L30/M20 car. CRG would appreciate knowing more details about the car, especially the rear axle, and if you have any brackets for a radius rod on either the chassis or the axle.
See the following links for more information:

Of course the base CRG link is http://www.camaros.org/
