Hi All:
Going to look at a (as advertised) 1967 RS/SS for a buddy this weekend. Question: Did all SS's come from the factory with a 12 bolt rear in '67??
Thanks!!

Dan,
Yes, but some non-SS cars also had 12 bolt rears, so that is not a definitive sign that the car is an SS.

Thanks 67!
I know the engine stamping has to be MU/MS or MV/MT depending on smog options. What are some other things to look for other than the 12 bolt that might help us decide if this is a true '67 SS?? Anything on the cowl tag that might help??

The '67 trim tag will have a 4P for SS350. There are other 4? codes for the Z/28 and big block SS but I can't remember.
