Went to look at a 71 Corvette today and got some #s off the engine. I would bet the farm it's not the org. engine. The #s are-rear of block 10066036,and what looks like 10110---- couldnt read anymore. I think the block was made in mexcico.On the front pad the #s are mj29353 the j might be a u?The block is painted black which is a dead giveaway that it is not org.He wants 10,000$Well not from me.What is this engine so I can tell him.He thinks it's org.but he doesn't know any better so he is not trying to pass it off knowing it isn't.
