this rear come out of a 70 RS Camaro, trying to find what gear it is, i believe its a posi, the numbers are as follows "G Y G 0262 W" the first letter may be a C but I think its a G.

It came out of a 1970 RS that broke it's original 8.2" rear end.

This is a corparate (1971 or newer) 3.08 posi rear end. GY is a valid early 70's Camaro code.
