I could use some help de-coding my P.O.P.
It reads:

124379N599994 R

V0210HA BS0214G

H9T10 133

I have been to the CRG site and figured it all out except for the "BS" and the "G" on the rear end code and the "133"

The reason i'm asking is through some research I've done, I have found that on an X55 car, the bright trim around wheel wells and drip rail mouldings was not included if it was an X55. Mine has it and it will stay but I'm just curious if it was added by a previous owner or dealer.

The "BS" is the code for a 12 bolt, 3:31 posi rear end; "G" simply means gear & axle plant; the 133 are optional equipment codes for your car. From what I can determine your car does not have power steering, but has power brakes (1), factory radio (3), and disc brakes (3). X55 included the the rear fender louvers, but not drip rails or wheel well trim.

The POP option info is doc'd at the CRG site, even though I'll be the first to admit that the existing POP option code table isn't easy to read.

The G is the suffix for Chevrolet Gear and Axle, the builder. The option codes start in column 15 right under the start of the axle code and are position dependent; you need to check for spaces. It is probably -133, where the dash is a space, and if so, indicates J50 power brakes, a radio (any type), and J52 disc brakes (only available as power anyway).

The bright trim could easily have been added, however, we're always looking for exceptions, so if you have any history on your car or paperwork with it, CRG would like to know about it.

Ed and Rich, thankyou for the info! I have spoken to the original owner who has said that he would dig out and let me have a copy of original paperwork which I hope includes the window sticker, but have not seen yet. That will probably answer a lot of questions. If/when I do I will register with C.R.G. Thanks again.

Rare trans. Not too many HD 3 speeds out there. We look forward to seeing the data on your car. http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif
