Finally got some pics of my Tag and Engine pad..
There a little hard to see but here they are:

Also Rear axle Code is:

BT 1118G2

CASTING DATE: (I think) K128

Do these appear correct? I mean do the dates line up?

The engine and rear end were 'assembled' 4 days apart in Nov. 1968. I'd say they jive.
And the partial VIN on the block matches the cars VIN. I'd say that matches.
The rear was actually cast on Nov. 12th, 1968 (assembled 6 days later) so that's a match.
The car was built the 4th week of Nov. 1968 so it looks to me like everything lines up nicely. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
