i had car appraised for insurance years ago
{like 6} the old gent told me it was also
an SS car,he said some cars in '66 build did not get all codes stamped,
car has a 10 bolt in it now,i was told it had a 12 bolt that got broke,and the local junk yard had a 3:31 10 bolt posi,or a non-
posi 3:08,so they bought the 10 bolt 3:31 i have in the car now
what do you think,
rear pass side frame rail is drilled tapped on the side in what i have been told is the correct spotr for the "radius rod" traction bar..
Thanks to all!!

Not an SS, by 12C the 4P L48 350/295HP option code had been in use for at least 3 months. Most likely an L30/M20.

Decode for body number: 053436

12C = Built the Third week of December.
67-12437 = Standard Interior Coupe.
NOR = Built in Norwood Ohio.
760 = Standard Black Bucket Seats.
Z = (A50) Strato Bucket Seats.
A-A = Car Color is Tuxedo Black
E = Interior paint is Black
Options:
1L = (A67) Fold-down rear seat
2L = (M20) 4-speed floor shifter

It might be a little hard to tell if the disk brakes were original to your car. It was only available as an option (J52) in 67 (not included with any other option package). You can look at this link for a little more info: http://www.camaros.org/suspen.shtml#Brakes
