I'm ready to purchase a radiator for my 69 Pace car with 350 4spd no A/C. I believe CRG list a Harrison 2 core as correct. My build sheet (box 269 says "radiator" above) reads ZN which I can't validate what that means after looking through all my books. Rick's told me all SS's should have a 3 core. Once I find the correct radiator with tag (UG/UT??)I want to be comfortible its correct. There is not enough money to get this right the second time. Please Help and Thank you, Jim

There is no ZN radiator code in 69 for a radiator. There is a ZA ZB, ZC, ZD, ZE, and ZH.
ZA's and ZH's are correct for automatic and manual (respectively)transmissioned L48 pacecars w/o air or HD cooling. Both are two core 21" wide radiators. The ZH coded radiator replaced UG in later production and has more cooling fins per inch.
US (M) or UR (A) coded radiators are three core and would be correct for an L48 with a HD or A/C radiator.
You should have a ZH radiator.

I had a younger set of eyes look at it this morning. ZH it is!!! Now I need to find one.
Mark- I look at the CRG site all the time and didn't find Cooling System- How do I get there? If I had gotten there I wouldn't have bothered you. But thanks anyway. Jim

It's a new report, still in draft form and hasn't been linked to the rest of the site yet. Should be linked shortly.

It is out of draft form and is officially released as of 5/6/04 (finally!). It was announced on the CRG forum and, as Mark indicated, the link needs to be added on the Reports page. smile.gif
5/10/04 NOTE - links to the report have been added to the CRG site.
Let me know if anyone finds anything that needs corrected.....
