Pulled my valve covers to get my head tag, funny thing is the first number doesn't match any of the sites. (Where exactly should I be looking for the numbers?). Here is what I found from front to firewall in between rockers:

7041 T GM
C20 9 5


I also found rod guides/spacers(?) with EROSON CAMS stamped on them, but a web search didn't turn up anything.

Tim, they could be the 3947041 heads, the date code looks like March 20 1969. These heads were for the 69 SS L48 350/300 engine with 1.94/1.50 valves. Good heads, just like the Z/28 "186" heads.

Look for a triangle on the ends with accessory holes.
