How do I decode a date code of "8F3" on a horn? I found some and I want the correct year for my 68. I think these are them...
Thanks!

ohayden, 8=year (1968,78, confirm by mounting arm style), F=month (June) and the 3=(pretty sure the week, could be the day). So if it's a 68 style mount, its the 3rd week of June 1968.

Thanks! I thought that's how it went but wanted to confirm. Do you know any quick differences between the arm brackets to know for sure?
