Here we go,

I have a 92 Camaro RS with the TBI 305. I want to greatly increase the horse power by switching to a 350, but I'm worried about computer complications. Second, if it is possible to just go ahead and throw in a 350 without making any computer modifications should I go ahead and keep the TBI(using an Edelbrock intake and a spacer) and will it fit on the 350, because after everything else I buy I really dont want to have to sink another $2,500 into a Holley or Edelbrock TPI. Next, is there a particular brand of posi and gear ratio that anyone would suggest for a street aplication for when I complete the engine swap?

Thanks for all your help.

First of all WELCOME to one of the BEST sites on the net. If the 350 that you are going to install has centerbolt valve covers, your intake and TBI will bolt on and work, too. Since your car already has a small block V8 engine, it is pretty much a straightforward swap. I'm pretty sure that you can use the existing computer without any changes, just make sure that you switch all of the sensors over to the new engine. I don't know if you will see a lot of horsepower difference, but there will be a good torque change. A 3.42 rear ratio is a good all around ratio, don't know too much about posi vendors. Hope this helps.

Make sure you get the intake with the 2" bores. It will allow more air/fuel to flow for you 350.
