Would someone be kind enough to look under thier 69 SS 350 with a TH350 and tell me the casting #'s and thier exact location? Can't believe no one out there has this info!!! Thanks.

The casting number for a Chevrolet V8 engine, big and small block even the new ones the casting numbers are located on the rear of the drivers side of the engine block. If you look from leaning over the drivers side fender down behind the rear of the drivers side valve cover you will see a number that most likely starts with 3. It is cast into the block so it is a raised number that is usually able to be read if you can get a look at it.
