have a m20 muncie with these numbers on it 3885010,3088330,on tailshaft 3846429.Anyone know what this came from>

Forgot one code pm7m307...

3885010 = 1965-67 main case
P = Muncie

Check the rest of the number again - it should be in a format like this:

P0406 for 1963-66 would be April 6th (no year character for 63-66)

P8A04 for 1967-68 would be Jan. 4th, 1968 (used year designator after the "P" and a letter A-T for month instead of a number)

Starting in 1969 they got an extra letter on the end for ratios (A=M20, B=M21, C=M22).

Take another look at the stamping and post again if you like.
