123379L521462

69-12437 VN 257756
727 57-57
12A O102

Car is now Orange with black interior.

12437N709011

69-12437NOR 162612
715 51-51
10E X66D80

car has orginal DK blue seats and painted Dusk Blue as cowl stipilates. Org 396 is out of car. In car at present is 4 bolt 69 427, casting # 393512 out of a 69 Vette.
Car has been converted to an RS/SS and was first sold Jan 8th, 1970. car is titles as model year 1970. talking with the owner, he related that the DMV said they need a letter from the Chevy dealer on their letterhead stating that the car in fact is a 1969 before they will change the title. Would think it would be no problem since the VIN states that already.. Other than that this car is awesome. Have pics of the Cowl plate and car if interested.

Hey Jeff,

Are you sure about the #'s on the '69 LA car?
The tags don't seem to match up....

That VIN should be a 02A car and the LA work order number should be a Bxxx or Cxxx.

Steve your right just looked at the pic i took of the Cowl tag. It does look like 02A and what i thought was a O on the other is a C162 not O102 like I thought. Dark out last night but the Digital Pic I took shows up ok.
Sorry for the mis-reading.
car now has a 350 in it.
Jeff

No build date on the 67? Do you have a pic of that tag?

On the BB car, he still has the original 396?

Thanks!

Kurt on the 67 I dont remember seeing a build date. I keep a pre-printed form in my car that I record VIN and Cowl tags with and its blank. I would have put it there but Ill check again. the guy moved in one blcok over.

As for the 396 BBC Im not sure. I told him I was getting the cars info for my records and CRG. I will e-mail you his E-mail address.

Owner of the 67 that I had orginally had no build date brought it by today after he wire wheeled the Cowl tag and it shows a 09D build date.. Kurt sent you an e-mail on this also.
Steve M. Do you record all or just LOS cars?

Not sure exactly what you are asking, but.... I am tracking all '69 LA builds (LOS and VN tags).

I'm not looking at Norwood cars....I'll leave those to the experts at CRG!

You answered what I was trying to ask. I was just wondering if you did all 69 or just the LA/VN cars. When I sent Kurt S any info an one LOS/VN 69's I come across Ill send them to you also.
