I purchased a 69 RS Convertible off of a gentleman who told me that the car was a Dayona Pace car. There are no letters or anything on the sides of the car. I was wondering how i can find out if it is a True pace car. It does not have any "X" codes on it which makes it an early production Norwood car. It has some nice options on it and the Color is Daytona Yellow. Any information would be appreciated . Also, is their any way to find the original owner of the car?

Maybe he thought it was a Daytona Pace Car because it was Daytona Yellow! People sure like to embellish the history of their cars. As long as the car is what you're looking for and you enjoy driving it, then it's a good buy.
