I read a recent post and the article about the guys at Hot Rod magazine (I think?) installing autometer guages in a 67-68 Dash (stock locations). Does anyone know if this mod will also work with the 69'd dash carrier?

Simple answer is no. The gausge cluster is different on the 69. Can be done just alot more custom work if you want the 5" gauges.
