I recently bought a 68 camaro and was wondering if anybody can help me decode the cowl tag.This is all I can make out for now due to so much paint being sprayed all over it.ST6812437NOR91987 TR717 66?22.That is all I can get without removing the paint.The car is supposed to be an RS/SS car,but it has been tubbed and the rear leafs are replaced by ladder bars.Also the gas tank is replaced by a fuel cell.Thanks for any help.

Thats the biggest problem with '68s is that there isnt any clear way to document one via a cowl tag. You need some paper work of some sort. http://www.camaros.net/forum/frown.gif
