Just bought a 68 rs/ss 396 4 speed. The engine is an L78, question is did the car come with one.The car doesn't appear to have ever had a fuel return line, the rear is 12 bolt. What else to look for?

First you need to get the number from the castng on the block. This will give you a start. There was no return fuel line on a BB. Look for the heater hoses going from the pump and manifold. the hoses should enter in the middle of the firewall casing. There are any ways to decifer your car. A camaro book would be the best bet. John Hooper puts out a good one. Hope this helps

Lower horsepower BB motors did have 2 fuel lines in 1969. I don't know about 68s. 375 hp motors only had 1 fuel line.

I appreciate the help, seems like the 68 is a little harder to figure out as the cowl tag doesn't have enough info.
