Need some help on a Muncie tranny...

VIN is 10P101679
I know its an M20, but I was wondering what it came out of?

Build date is August 11 1970.
I show "P" in the vin as for heavy duty truck. Are you sure it is not a "B"? That would make it for a Chevelle.

Hmmm...it must be a "B" then, cause I know that no Muncies were installed in trucks.
Must be out of a 70 Chevelle.

I think that the "P" stands for Pontiac assembly and maybe the trans is out of a 70 Pontiac?
EDIT: On second thought, the P is probably a lightly stamped B, cause I believe the 1 at the beginning of the partial vin stands for Chevrolet and the B would be Baltimore Assembly.
