I have a '67 Camaro with a trim tag I don't understand.

Here goes:

Here is how the tag decodes:

Decode for body number: 139444

06D = Built the Forth week of June.
67-12437 = Standard Interior Coupe.
NOR = Built in Norwood Ohio.
709 = Standard Gold Bucket Seats.
Z = (A50) Strato Bucket Seats.
T-2 = Base Color is Capri Cream and the Vinyl Top Color is Black.
G = Interior paint is Gold

Options:
1W = (A02) Tinted W/S only
3S = (Z23) Interior Decor group
3K = (Z21) Deluxe exterior trim
5B = (V31 & V32) Front and Rear Large Bumper Guards

If you post or e-mail me the vin, I can tell you if it was a V8 car or not and if it lines up with the trim tag.
