I got some tail lamp assemblies in the original GM boxes and the number on the outside of the box are correct, but how do I know if the actual tail lamp assembly themselves are original or not. Each piece of the assembly has its own part number that you could order seperatly, but what about the whole assembly itself. Do I have to decode each piece and make sure they are all original? Like the bezels, lens, and tail lamp backing plates. I know each of these pieces had there own part numbers but then you can by them all assembled to under another part number. If any body has these and they are original, could you look at the part numbers for me on yours and let me know what they. I called adealer ship and the numbers on the boxes came up correct for 68 Tail lamp assemblies discontinued in 1980. Any help would be great. Somebody who is doing a complete numbers matching restoration could use these before I would on my NOM camaro. Thanks, Erik
