I have a 68 conv with a 350 and a powerglide trans. The emblems say it's a SS. The 68 cowl tag doesn't give much info like the 67, so there's no way to check that (I think?). It's also got a 10 bolt. I thought that the SS cars had 12 bolts? Could this be a SS?

You would need to post the numbers on the engine. To be absoluely sure you would need to find a copy of the build sheet. The car would have come with a 12 bolt, but it is 30+ years old. There are other clues, so it might be worth the time to check old posts in this section.
