I have a 67 Camaro, VIN 124377N194936 and I have a block cast number of 3858180. I think I found that the block is a 64-67 cast, but I'd like to know how to find out if it's the original block.

I found another number right below the block stamp, it's K2740 and I also managed to see what I think is 8T just above and after the 3858180. I've been able to confirm the car was built at the end of March 67 but I still can't figure out if it's the original engine. It was built around the right time. Any help would be appreciated.

says used in passenger cars / chevelle / corvettes (if you go to sell mention corvette - those people are used to paying big dollars)
