Got a set of heads in mind and the seller is selling them as 1970 ls6 closed chambered cylinder heads but the casting number on the heads is 3994028, and I double checked it the last digit is an EIGHT. Is this correct for a 1970 ls6 cylinder head? If not what is it? Any help as quick as possible would be appreciated.
THanks

I'll still bet that the 8 is a closed 6. That is a 1971 LS6 head.
The correct 1970 LS6 head is casting number 3964291
