William;
Didn't want to polute the other post, and I've never heard of an LA COPO?
quote;
All Camaro engine options were built at the LA plant. For quite some time it was thought no COPOs were built there but at least one documented car exists.

Bought by DANA chevrolet? Share what ya know! I'm dying to hear the details.
I've always had a hard time believing West coast cars came from Norwood but evidence has shown most 427 cars did.
Thanks Todd

I saw a LA built COPO camaro at Barrett Jackson auction last January. It had a build sheet, which I believe CLILL has a picture. It was burnished brown.

L531088 is supposed to be an LA built COPO with chassis broadcast sheet. I have heard there were also a few COPO Chevelles built in CA, possibly at a different plant.
