I went to an auction in Monmouth IL today, where a 69 camaro was sold. I didn't purchase the car myself. I just went to see the car, and what it sold for. I checked the numbers out as well.

The car had a lot of bondo in the rear quarters and front fenders. The floors were shot as was most of the interior. 10 bolt rear, Mono leaf, no engine or tranny. Had most of a four speed setup still in the car, who knows. Someone is going to have their hands full. I hope they give the car what it deserves. That is the earliest camaro I have seen. I just thought this info was worth passing on to whoever is interested.

Sorry, I left out the best part. The car sold for 4,250. I was suprised to see it go that high given the condition. Do early cars bring more cash do you think? It's not like it was an SS or Z.

I dont think early cars are worth more unless it was one of the first five, then maybe it would be. That is the earliest Norwood Car I have seen. I have seen the 18th car from Van Nuys.

Earliest I have seen is the 113th from Norwood and the 8th from Van Nuys....
