Does anyone know how I would track a "CE" stamped block? I know that it is a factory replacement but to find out when it was installed. The # is CE03A925. I also would like to know how to track the original block.
I'd appreciate any help.

All you can tell from the pad stamp on a "CE" block is what year it was built - the third digit ("0") means it was built in 1970, and the casting date will verify that. My Z has one too (CE 0A965 0 9), casting 3790010, dated E-18-0 (May 18, 1970). Lots of them were blown up during the warranty period and replaced.

Could you recheck the NOR #? 155661 seems a little low for a 12D build.
Thanks!

That's what the # reads. Can you tell me if there is a list of all the option that came on the car? i.e build sheet or something where I could find it?
Thanks,
Matt
