Anyone know where it's stamped, if the vin is even stamped at all? Also anyone have any pictures?

Should be stamped on passenger side just above the pan on the side of the trans.

Oh I should probably answer now. :D

On the passenger side of the tranny below the lowest bellhouse bolt hole is a machined flat spot about 3 inches long. That is where the VIN is stamped on mine (and others that I have seen).

Also I have the vin stamped on the top of the bellhouse, kind of half on/half off. You can just make it out in this pic, behind the block casting numbers and slighty covered by the bolt for the throttle linkage.
