My engine number is 3932388 it's in a 69 convertible RS coded for a V-8. I don't have any of the original paperwork on this car. I did notice in the 67 - 69 camaro restoration book that it listed this number for a 69 350/300 but when I tried to look it up in other places it shows it being listed as a 69 full size car. Can anyone shine some light on this subject.

It was also used in Camaros from '68-'74. The casting date (behind pass. cyl. head) and the two stamped codes on the stamp pad (on block in front of pass. cyl. head) will tell if it's the original engine.

HN has several uses, none of them Camaro.
1965 Corvette 327-375 H.P. RPO L84
1968 Impala 327-250 H.P. RPO L73
1969 Impala 350-300 H.P. RPO L48
I find no suffix HN for the Camaro.

The 3932388 was only used in 1969. This being the case, your HN code is the 1969 Impala 350-300 H.P. RPO L48.
