I recently purchased a 69RS and tried to mount my new BF Goodrich radial T/A's (265-70-15) on my 15" x 8"(5" backset rims). Tires are within 1/32 from the wheel-well. Did the previous owner switch rear-ends,and put a wider one in? I see lots of camaro's with these exact tires/rims. Differential # is 3959038NF. (GM 58)
Or do my multi-leaf springs need re-arcing to obtain better height clearance??

Hi Ken, my new 15's are 265-50 in back on 10" rims, you can see one of them in my link here.
These are new Eaton 5 leafs, so it does ride higher now too. Im not sure about the differential numbers, you might post them in the Tranny and Diff section.
