Taking stock of my 69 RS/SS Camaro project (read: many parts, many boxes....). The front end is not on the car and I need to authenticate the GM fenders as factory RS ones. They have the two main tabs recessed approximately 2.5 inches from the front edge of the fenders. Is this correct for RS fenders?

I'm sure I will have many similar questions to come - no other '69s close to compare.

Yes the RS fenders will have the tab's on them... Std fenders will not.

Thanks for the help Dennis. I had no idea the std fenders didn't even have those tabs on them at all.
