Here's the complete list: F-Flint Motor Facility H-Hydramatic K-Canada, McKinnion Industries M-Mexico S-Saginaw Service T-Tonanwanda V-Flint Engine Plant As a general rule, single digit suffixs were used untill 1964, 2 digits were used untill 1969 and 3 digits were used from 1970 to present. There are a few exceptions. VIN information stamped on the block as early as 1962 and is stamped on all blocks from 1968 on.
