Hi.

I’ve a problem to identify the series numbers of a 69 350 ci Camaro.
Here are the numbers :

ST 69 12437 VN 33C134 BDM
TP711 72 72 PNT
4 C K552

I have a problem with the VN, what is this place, it isn’t LOS or NOR…
I’ve a other problem with K552.
Impossible to identify this car if I don’t know what is this K552.

I have search, but I can’t have those 2 information.
With a little chance, this car is maybe rare !!!
It has interesting option, like front disque brakes.

Thanks to answer my mail if you can help me.

Bye.

Laurent.

VN is Van Nuys Assembly plant. It was sometimes called Los Angeles, and sometimes Van Nuys. The K522 was an internal scheduling code, which was only used at VN

Van Nuys is part of the greater Los Angeles area.

Van Nuys built Camaro, Firebird, and Impala/Caprice coupes and sedans (no wagons or convertibles). The South Gate plant (also in the L.A. area) built all styles of Impala/Caprice and B-O-P full-size cars, and the Fremont plant (San Francisco, now the "NUMMI" Toyota plant) built Chevelles and trucks.

JohnZ,
No convertibles out of the Van Nuys plant? I hope thay made Pace Cars in 69, if not I'm in big trouble. I may have mis-read your post. (I hope)

No Impala or Caprice convertibles. Made plenty of Camaro and Firebird convertibles at Van Nuys

Hi.

Thank you very much for this.

It’s hard to see what sort of Camaro we have with this sort of series number. Impossible to see if it’s a real SS for exemple.

Thanks again.

Bye.
