bought one and a spare tire cover with some of my Santa $$'s from npd. it's the better rubber type vs. the vinyl. they came tonight. still sort of cold outside and dark, so i know it may do better when the rubber warms up and i can see more. i put it in and it seems to fit well except around the trunk latch area. will i have to slit it to get it to lay down here? i see no way to put it underneath the area where the latch is. right now it this goes vertical up the trunk latch supports and doesn't lay flat on either side of them until it gets to the tail lights. any suggestions?

Try a hair dryer! Or a couple hours in the sun...

Be sure to look under this now and then for moisture. Can really cause problems is allowed to stay wet. Camaros are noted for small leaks around the back window and trunk lid.

Tom - You are so correct! Every time I give my '69 a bath I get a small puddle under the mat...(NEVER on top!) Think I have a tail light leak but haven't found it yet.
