There is a Muncie on Ebay with a date of P8P05B and the ad claims it's for a 1969. on muncie transmissions, I thought the 8 in P8P05B would signify 1968. Can anybody clarify?

It would be Sep 67 for a 68 car. My 68 Camaro would fit that bill since its a 09C car. Is there a VIN stamped on the side of it?

I didn't think they started putting the letter designating m-20, m-21 or m-22 until the 1969 model year.
