Can someone tell me if these numbers cast into my cam make any sense?
This is out of my 70 1/2 Z28 Camaro. I am going thru the engine and would like to verify that this is original to this 350 360 hp solid lifer engine which is original to the car.

Original part # for the 70-72 Z28 camshaft is 3972178. I know that Gm part numbers and casting numbers sometimes were 2 to 4 digits off of each other, perhaps that would explain the 2182. Hope this helps.
