I'm just getting familiar with the 67's, so
correct me if I error gang - here goes;

01B (build date 2nd week Jan 68
HOO3 (Los Angeles internal plant code)
ST 67 (1967 model year)
12637 (Sport coupe, custom interior)
LOS 13457 BODY (built in LA & body sequence#)
TR 765-Z (Custom black bucket interior w/no headrest)
Y-2 PAINT (Y =Butternut yellow 2 = black vinyl top)
WL (W = tinted windshield L = fold-down rear seat)
2MGSR (M =Powerglide trans**; G = console;
S = rear antenna; R = rear speaker)
3SL ( S = Interior chrome L = Rallysport equipment)
4P (P = L48 engine (350ci/295hp) with Super Sport equipment)

** According to some sources documented LA cars with M also had TH400 trans installed. Although Z was the designated code for the 400.

This looks like a very nicely optioned 67!

I really like the tags on these 67's after dealing mostly with 69's over the years.

Mike Brown,

Technically, you are incorrect as well. The 67's were built from summer of 66, not fall.
Mine has a build code of 5th week of August 1966.

Scott.

I'm not sure when the first one was made but it was probably mid August. Mine is serial number 367 so I would guess that it was made 1 or 2 weeks after production began.

The prototypes (Chapperal's) were probably made in February or march, I wonder if they were ever sold? That would be a true collectors item!
