Check it out-factory hugger orange with green interior, changed to black.

Maybe it was a trim tag error.

I looked at this car this morning and sent the seller an email. Nice enough guy he is, but he is insistant that this was original and that it was ordered this way with green interior. I said I doubt it, and he replied with I must be too young to know that Green was hip in the day. OK, so maybe it was, but not with an orange car. (lmfao)

I informed him that there were a bunch of other things wrong with this car and he had an excuses for that as well. He claims it to be a 3 owner car and that he has spoken to the three previous owners already. I say nice looking car, but very very doubtful its a Z/28. I think maybe a made over RS car if even that.

Whether that tag came from another car - well that's another story....

looks like a legit car from the details visable in the pics

deep groove alt pulley still, must've added the ps to the car as it is not a deep groove pulley

big minus is the sub frame connectors though

All I can say is buyer beware with this seller.
From personal experience with this seller. I think I know why he keeps his auctions private.
He can make things look like a million bucks with pictures.Let's just say he vision of rust free and mine arent the same.......

I am not saying that the car isnt a real z28.

Hylton, I know the Black Z28 you are talking about, it used to be Ken Reich,s Race car ( Edmonton, Alberta) and had a Big Block, Turbo 400 in it in the 70,s and 80,s.
I actualy gave Richard Pictures of it, from the old Edmonton International Raceway when it was a Race Car.
Pretty Rare Colours allrite.

That's interesting considering that he is selling the car with the original engine and tranny! How did he find the original motor especially since the car has been without it for possibly 30 years? Did Ken keep it while he ran the big block set-up? I bet Richard hounded you to buy your car right?

Hylton, You are correct,he tried to hound me regarding my car, but i saw though his ways almost as soon as we emailed and told him to get lost. He also bugged me for a guys phone number who has a 396/375HP convertible, and i would not give it to him.
The black Z was rumored to still have the original engine, but knowing Ken i kinda doubt it. I see him at the races every now and then, next time i will question him regarding that fact.
