Does the Chevelle and ChevyII carry the same code configuration or would this be for camaro? If so is the vin recorded?

No, CRG does not have that vin in the data base, untill now smile.gif . It has to be a Camaro L78 engine because only Camaros were built at the NOR plant in 68 and the MQ is a Camaro engine code.

I thought that suffix code was shared with some of our GM cousins?

Not combined with the Norwood VIN.
