K0824TFT is the engine code on my car.

From Colvn's book I beleive it's a 69 Camaro 327(at least going by the FT suffix), but maybe not.

What I don't understand is that in Colvin's book the engine codes contain 7 digits and this one is 8 digits.

Could someone map out the code for me in the case of 8 digits?

K0824TFT is a '79 truck 350 automatic LS9 155hp 4-barrel built on August 24th by McKinnon Industries in Canada - probably originally installed in a 20 or 30-series truck built in Oshawa.
