Hi all,
I was hoping to get some info on a project car I'm thinking of tackling.

It's a '68 that comes w/ a '69 427/335 (not installed), and the casting number is listed as "3935270", but I haven't been able to get any additional info on this engine.

Other specs can be found at http://home.sprynet.com/~gio/chevy/info-on-camaro-427

If anyone can provide additional info on the engine, and if the price is worth it ($5250), I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Sounds like a good deal if the body is as nice as they claim.

Not to poop in anyones Wheaties, but I own an original '69 427/400hp Vette "LQ" code 2-bolt main(not 4-bolt), block with "270" casting. This has never been decked or restamped.

dcross, looks like a pretty reasonable project. Have you seen it? BTW, where are you from? Will you have to have the car transported?

I found some pics at http://home.sprynet.com/~gio/Chevy/68%20Camaro%20427-Int%20&%20Eng.jpg

It's laying about 40 miles from here in Lynnwood, WA

HawaiianCamaro: According to the seller, the engine ID is T1015LE-19C009557, which, I think, would mean a build date of Oct. 15, 1969. Is this guy trying to yank me?

Joe G: Gorgeous ride!
