I'm looking at a 69 camaro that is matching # engine trans and rear end.Does a turbo 350 automatic have the vin# stamped on it or is that just Muncie's?Car has correct #s on trans bit just wondering about vin.If it has one where would it be?Thanks Paul.

Depends which plant built it - Norwood TH350's had the VIN derivative stamped on the edge of the case just above the attaching bolt to the block at 10 o'clock, and Van Nuys stamped it on the passenger side of the case, on a raised pad at the edge, a few inches rearward of where the front of the case changes from vertical to a 45* angle. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
