tejasrs/ss May 17th, 04, 10:44 AM awesome! thanks!
tejasrs/ss May 17th, 04, 04:59 PM ok so it seems I am supposed to have a 4 speed tranny. but which one?? M20? M21? Saginaw??
Jonesy May 17th, 04, 08:01 PM The 2L code on your tag means 4 speed with floor shifter. In 1967 the only 4 speed trans available with the L48 was the M20. So that is what your car orignally came with.
tejasrs/ss May 28th, 04, 10:09 AM thanks Jonesy! the more info i find on my car the more exited I get to restore it! I lov ethis site
Westonz28 May 29th, 04, 05:50 PM Can you explain why this Camaro can not be a L30/M20?
67ss350camaro May 30th, 04, 09:24 AM The car is too early to be a L30/M20 car. No L30/M20 cars were coded on the cowl tag this early.
tejasrs/ss Jun 1st, 04, 08:52 AM L30/M20?? what does that mean?
jg95z28 Jun 1st, 04, 10:48 AM L30/M20 >>> http://www.camaros.org/l30m20.shtml
Hey Daniel, what is the earliest known L30/M20? Thanks.
Kurt S Jun 1st, 04, 11:52 AM Let's clarify. L30/M20 cars were available from day 1 of production.
They didn't get the drivetrain upgrade and become L30/M20/12bolt until later in the year.
mcnwil Jun 2nd, 04, 12:52 AM Would April be considered later in the year? My car seems to fit the L30/M20 but was built first week of April.
67ss350camaro Jun 2nd, 04, 02:23 AM Yes, your car would defiantly be late enough. The change happened sometime around Jan of '67.
By the way, does your car have a radius rod? If so round or square? If not, are there any brackets for one?
mcnwil Jun 2nd, 04, 03:02 AM Yes, I have a Rectangular radius rod and a 12 bolt rear.
jg95z28 Jun 2nd, 04, 06:18 PM Thanks for clarifying that Kurt. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
