i have a 67 camaro / automatic,...
someone installed a aftermarket shifter and i want to replace it with the original shifter.....
CAN ANYONE tell me where i can fid a layout of how this is installed.?
I have the shifter , but not the linkage rod or the nuetral saftey switch, and want to put it back on right......
PS, new here , and the help would be greatly appriciated..... THANKS ALL

Just by looking at some catalogs, I think you'll need the linkage rod and selector lever. In Rick's First Gen catalog they're 36.50 and 29.95 respectively (but maybe you can get these used somewhere). I'll bet that if you get these parts, the installation will be self-explanatory - it's just a rod and bracket. BTW, is your shifter on the floor, or column? I'd call one of these places and ask them which parts you need, and whether they have them used - they're usually pretty good about that stuff. THANKS FOR THE HELP... i will look in Ricks, i have the catalog...
ONE PROBLEM i have to deal with , unfortunatly this car has a 350 turbo, i dont know if i can modify the shifter linkage to work or not , since it is a glide set up...
Never thought about this problem ...
