I tried searching on this site before posting but could not find any info. I have a set of headers on my 69 302, but the only markings I can find on them are *131. Can anyone help me figure out what kind of headers these are? Thanks a bunch.

You will need to give up some more info, unfortunatly *131 doesn't give very many clues.

Do they look anything like this:

These are the Bill Thomas OEM headers for the 67/68 302's.

I would like to post a photo, but I can't figure out how the heck to do it.

Digster,

Been a long time since I was through Dryden but used to party there in the summers at the lake. As for your picture, just email the photo to me at lockitup@telus.net and I will post it for you.

I needed to replace the headers on the '67 and wanted to use the same brand so I could bolt them right in. Went over to http://www.summitracing.com and looked at the pics of each header they offered and was able to I.D. the set I had. If you're able to find your set I'd call the Sales Rep to make sure the picture is accurate.

Hey Rob,

Just to let you know in case you were not aware of it, when looking at Summit's online catalog don't always go by the picture's they post. They sometimes use the same picture for similar items and I am almost positive they state this in their pop-up window.

Yeah I know, but thanks for the heads up anyway. I verified it before I bought. You'd think the manufacturers would provide pics to identify for replacements but they don't.
