Wondering if I could get a hand IDing the 327 in my 69...

The ID stamped on the boss, under the head on the pass side, is: V04I8ME http://www.rmfsys.com/rmfracing/images/temp/block_id_4.jpg

Under that it's: GM 3892657 http://www.rmfsys.com/rmfracing/images/temp/block_id_1.jpg

And, just above the crank: (see pic) http://www.rmfsys.com/rmfracing/images/temp/block_id_3.jpg

Thanks for any help!

Rob

ME is the assembly code for a 67 or 68 327/210HP engine with a power glide.

Assembly code indicates it was assembled in the Flint Engine Plant on April 18th. Can't tell the year from your photos. Look for a casting date on the top opposite side of the block from the GM 389657 casting.

Yes, April 12th 1967, so its a 327/210 from a 67 Camaro with a powerglide transmission.
