Can anyone help me decode this 67 Cowl tag? Its being sold as an SS and I just wanted to be sure. (I just copied and pasted what he sent me so it may be a bit out of line) I have the VIN too if thats needed.

It appears that you have left out some information, however what you did include shows this:

1967 Camaro Sport Coupe
NOR Built in Norwood Ohio Plant.
106401 Sequential build code (Early build, probably Sept?)
TR756 Black Bench Seat
SS PNT Sierra Fawn paint
3B Rear Defroster
3S Interior Trim
3D Clock and Guages
3K Style Trim Group
5Y Seat Belts

The cowl tag will not have a code to indicate SS or not on the earlier built cars, of which it appears that yours is.

I'd say it's not a SS. That body # says it's a later car.
Could you post the VIN and we'll confirm.
The paint code could be S-S, S-2, or S-6.
The date code from the top line is missing and is there really a dash between the 3B-SDK?

Hello Kurt & Scott. Thanks for the info. The guy emailed me the tag info so I probably need to have him snap a shot of the tag with his digital camera and send it to me. But here is the VIN if that will help determine if its an SS. VIN: 124377N206626

Asking for a pic of the cowl tag isn't a bad idea, just to make sure he didn't miss any key codes.
But from the info provided, it isn't an SS.

Remember, condition is everything.
