Ya must have missed all the hoop-la a few months ago... The '69 was manufactured and sold into 1970 because of problems with production of the new 1970 body style. You'll often hear folks call the first 2nd gens 1970 1/2 bedcause of their late production start and introduction to the public. In reality the 69 body style cars sold after the new 1970 model year started are 1969 camaros. As I understand it the vins reflect this.
The photo is an advertising shot and that web site is full of pictures that depect things like small block SS Chevelles in years the SS only came with a big block.

I just thought it was cool with the 70 plate on it.
I thought a member here even owns a 1969-model 1970 Camaro...
