Hi all, New guy to the forum question. After 49 yrs and 3 kids and 9 Grandkids later,I've decidaed to bite the bullet again and purchace another 69 Z-28.
Please bear with me on this as it has been a while...with all the "clone Z-28's" out there, how can one be certain that you are indeed picking up a "true" 69 Z-28 ?? Vin #'s ?? If so are there a Vin # series which designated "true" 69 Z's ??
I have found what I belive is a true 69-Z 28 in my area with original DZ 302 engine and Muncie 4 speed and the #'s do match.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Look forward to many future post with you guys. Mike

Check out the site Jeff suggested and pick up the book "The Definitive 1969 Camaro Z/28-SS396 Fact Book" by Jerry MacNeish. It is an excellent source of pertinent info. The key is to learn about the car before you go looking. Good luck in your search!!
